"How Is The Nigerian Police Our Friend?". Blog Reader Narrates Shocking Drama Incident At Area G, Ogba
Hello Laila,
I am one of regular readers and I would want you to help broadcast this drama by policemen in Ogba Area G.
On Olatunde Street in Aguda Ogba 3 days ago, a man was caught vandalising a neighbour's car (Highlander Jeep) around 1.30am. He broke the side mirror, removed the brainbox, car stereo and other stuffs. He was caught with those items, beaten and taken to Area G in Ogba.
To everyone's surprise, policemen on duty compelled the younger brother of the car-owner (car owner traveled out of the country) to take the thief to hospital for treatment, paid N6k for that because the thief said he doesn't have any relations, that he lives under the bridge. The thief was let off too!
The funniest part of the story was the arrest of neighbours who followed the victim to the station for catching a thief! They had to pay N10,000 to release them!! This can only happen in Nigeria, don't you think so?
Please help broadcast this unjustly act, let it spread as wide as it can, may be a sane police authority in Lagos can change the story like the one I read on your blog.
Please protect my identity, save a life o!
Thank you.
