Please hide my identity and email, I am a 23 year old female blog reader and I am a final year student of OAU. I have 2 very close friends, A guy and a lady. They are both very close to me and so far, they have not betrayed me but you never can tell whats happening behind the scenes. Last month, A girl from my lodge left the hostel to meet a guy she met on facebook and she is yet to return and all her numbers are switched off. worse is that she did not tell a single soul where she is headed because she was rumoured to be secretly doing runs in school...
All of us in that lodge have our own little secret runs we do from time to time just like all undergrads do (pls dont judge me because you no holy pass).
I had to learn from the missing girl's experience.. I dont want to just waka somehow and disappear without at least one person knowing where i went to. I need just to have one confidant because there are a lot of personal issues that i also need to pour out to a listening ear so i can get an external opinion before i make mistakes. two good heads are better than one they say.
I have been thinking of who to go to between my two closet pals. Some people are of the opinion that confiding dirty secrets in a fellow woman may turn disastrous in the future while some are of the opinion that a girl can always be a girls best friend. I also know that some guys can also gossip. I am unsure on who to make my confidant among my two close pals because they both are not judgmental and they understand me but who do i chose.
