Ghanaian Boxer Disrespects Nigerian Flag! Photos from the Ekundayo (Nigeria) Vs Lamptey (Ghana) Weigh in
As you may have seen on Social Media the weigh in for the African Boxing Union title erupted yesterday when Joseph Lamptey (Ghana) disrespected the Nigerian flag by throwing it on the floor!. Lamptey had been upset that he had not been given a Ghanaian flag at the weigh in, so he grabbed the Nigerian flag from Nigerian Larry Ekundayo and threw it on the ground.
Ekundayo and Lamptey had to be physically restrained at this disrespect. Lampteys actions have not be well received by social media, with people up in arms about it.

Nigerian born boxing sensation Larry 'The Natural' Ekundayo is set to face Ghana's Joseph Lamptey in a highly anticipated battle for the ABU (African Boxing Union) Welterweight Title. The bout is the main event of the evening and is due to be shown in live in the UK on London Live and back in Nigeria.
