Our story love story began like a joke.I first knew him through my elder sister whose friend he is.We usually exchanged pleasantries whenever we met,but never actually discussed,until he dropped by on one occasion to see her and met her absence.Then we spoke.And continued speaking days and weeks and months after that.Begining with 2go back then(thanks to 2go o*wink*),then facebook,and then BBM.I was at the time not open to a relationship but i couldn't deny that i enjoyed our conversations and marvelled at the way he effortlessly understood me.

Our friendship grew deeper,took several curves and finally landed where we now knew it was unavoidably headed.He hit the nail on the head.I withdrew,avoided him and the topic for as long as i could,and when he wouldn't budge,explained the reasons to him.For all i knew i could have been speaking swahili,because he pressed with more vigour than ever.And i'm glad he did.*wink*

I eventually budged,and the rest as we say,is history.I'm utterly grateful he didn't give up on me by not letting me give up on love.He is the sweetest thing that can happen to a woman,the best that has happened to me.

Love isn't a mirage,it's real and beautiful when found with the right person.All you need do is give yourself a chance to feel it,past heartbreaks notwithstanding.True love is understanding,patient and most of all,not materialistic.Everything else is just a bonus.
