Please help me use your blog to ask ndi-MTN why they are asking the public to share our BVN details to complete our SIM registration.



I received the message yesterday and was shocked, and had to call their customer care service to confirm if it actually came from them or just a fraudulent message. To my greatest surprise the agent told me that
it's from them, that the message is for those who can't go to any MTN office due to their busy schedules.

I asked him if its safe for the people to do such, because when this BVN ish started initial, they were strict about our details not to be shared to any third party.

MTN I have a question for you: DID YOU GUYS PUT UP AN ADVERT ABOUT THIS NEW DEVELOPMENT? WAS THE PUBLIC OFFICIALLY INFORMED? IS CBN AWARE OF THIS?

Laila trust me if people who are not aware of such secrecy of their BVN details will go ahead sending the code.

Please CBN should look into this.........
